The third cohort of the Media + Social Action ARC endured the class and projects online. During the COVID pandemic in 2020, many classes were held via Zoom, projects consisted of articles or videos, and events were all outside and socially distant. The team broke up into several groups throughout the year which touched on many relevant societal issues. Some of these consisted of effects of gentrification, police brutality, environmental racism on indigenous peoples, and food security.
